Hi,
Got my XPower a week ago and used Android Auto for quite a few times since then.
all good except for the annoying issue when i'm getting some kind of alert (for example Line Assist or other notification) the music volume goes down for that alert but doesn't go back to normal after alert is over.
and when I'm trying to increase the volume it looks like it's limited or cut by 25%.
the only thing that brings back the volume to normal is:
1. if i'm getting a phone call, after the call is finished the volume goes back from the "limited mode".
2. if I will disconnect and reconnect the usb cable the volume will rest to normal as well

Did anyone experience something like that?
Tx

I see, thanks. To tell you the truth I am not sure if it's related to the car or to android auto settings on my phone somehow... that's why wanted to get the experts' feedback here :)

I've had this in my last car which was Peugeot e-2008 and then the MG4 sound was flat after a call or viewing notifications but doesn't happen now.
I'd say then it is not a car side problem but android side. I'm assuming an Android update rectified it as nothing else has changed other than phone updates and works perfectly now. I have Pixel phone so get the updates a bit quicker than some other phone manufacturers so it could be rolling out and you'll just realise out the blue its stopped doing this one day.

The same thing happens to me and it's quite annoying. I have found that when this happens you can restore the normal volume by simply pressing the car's voice assistant (not Android Auto) with the steering wheel button.
Tx for the tip mate

I ended up disabling the warning/hazard alerts for the built-in sat nav as I believe these are the cause, and it hasn't happened to me since. Seems to be bug (i.e. not returning to previous audio level after it has alerted).

For those wanting to keep these enabled, the tip from @Nanof sounds like a simple workaround, thank you for sharing it! ?

thanks, don't think i have the same options as you. probably it depends on the phone type?
That's for the built-in satellite navigation, no phone connected.
I have an XPOWER, I'm not sure which models include the satnav, but if a car doesn't have it then I wouldn't expect these alerts to ever sound for the obvious reason of not having the function.

Hi, did you got a solution for this. Having the Same problems with my Pixel 8 Pro. I listen to music with Spotify, but cant use the internal Navi, as the Volume Drops after each voice direction. Yes I do know g-maps is way better, but I just want to understand the root cause. I'm on R63 if that matters. Previous R46 had the same issues..
