Android Auto - you keep saying "intelligence". I don't think it means what you think it does

OK, who has had a better example of Android Auto getting things almost, but not quite, entirely unlike being correct. This one, earlier today had us in stitches of laughter, to the extent that it should be considered a driving hazard as the tears coursed down our faces.

We wanted some music. VLC plays well through Android auto. Herself presses the button and clearly states the album: "Play 'Baroque Selection'". On the screen the words come out "Play The Rock Selection" and the voice says "Got it. Asking VLC to play Dwayne Johnson"

Not quite the same but Google maps announces "Aust interchange" as "Australian interchange", it obviously thinks it's an abbreviation.

Pitiful - everyone knows it's short for Austrian Interchange.

I asked it to take me to "Sainsbury’s, Straiton", which is just outside Edinburgh, and it promptly routed me to "Sainsbury’s, Streatham", which I believe is near London. On the second attempt it got it right.

A week later I drove to Brighton. When I was getting in the car there it promptly asked me if wanted to go to Sainsbury’s, Streatham - presumably it was the nearest place to where I now was, that it thought I had expressed an interest in.

Streatham is in South London. Used to have family living there, and it was a pain to get to. The journey from the end of the M4 around the South Circular would take longer than the journey from Bristol to the end of the M4.
