I preheated the cabin for the first time last month while the car was still attached to my home charger. I had charged overnight and it stopped at 80% as set and put in about 12.5kWh. The preheating used about 3% so when I got into the car it was reading 77% charge.
Next time I came to charge the car it only accepted about 12.5kWh of electricity before stopping despite being nowhere near the percentage set. After restarting the charging it would only charge to 77%. This has happened every time I have charged the car since.
The car is booked in for a service next month and I mentioned the problem when I made the booking. Meanwhile I'm going to try disconnecting the 12v battery to see if that resets the charging software.
Anyone else had the same problem or is it a sign that the infamous CCU is starting to fail?
13/02/2025 UPDATE: Disconnecting the battery didn't make any difference. The amount of charge the car will accept is decreasing with every charge. It looks like it is the CCU has failed.
