any OVMS news to share? also, BMS 092660R12 supported?

greetings from the Netherlands,
Considering getting OVMS. I've just watched the march 29th podcast about OVMS for the ZS EV where there was a mention of new features on the verge of being released and was wondering if there's been progress made? I've checked MG EV — Open Vehicles documentation but didn't spot any changes since the video.
secondly, my ZS EV (EU Luxury) is sporting the somewhat dated 0926600R12 version of BMS, is that going to be a problem? Will ovms wake up my car properly to get SOC when sat in the driveway and do so without triggering the alarm later that night?

To answer my own question: my OVMS box is up and running, no issues with 092660R12. Doesn't trigger the alarm?
Looking through the edge release notes, the last MG stuff was added May 2nd.
