Auto door lock while driving, anybody know if it's possible to turn this feature off
I was once sat at traffic lights in a pre Auto Door Lock car when a drunken idiot tried to pull me out of my car. If it hadn't been for my seatbelt he would have managed it too. Why on earth would you want to turn off the Auto Door Lock system? It's a security measure.Auto door lock while driving, anybody know if it's possible to turn this feature off
Because if you crash the car it can become a lot more difficult for the emergency services to get you out especially as it can be time critical , A fire for example could become very time critical to get out. I have been wandering how this can be done myself ???I was once sat at traffic lights in a pre Auto Door Lock car when a drunken idiot tried to pull me out of my car. I thought most cars with auto lock have an auto unlock function on collision detection? I appreciate a door that is smashed in won't unlock but it probably won't open either. I'd ask you to try it but I'm guessing that's not an option ?Because if you crash the car it can become a lot more difficult for the emergency services to get you out especially as it can be time critical , A fire for example could become very time critical to get out. I thought a double tug on the interior door handle would unlock/open the door?I use it as a taxi and it's a bit unerving for females to hear the doors lock when traveling on their own
