I accidently activated the autohold function, the display shows a green circled A when I stop. When I release the brake, the car doesn't automatically move forward anymore.

Could anyone explain how to deactivate the autohold function?
And how did I activate it?

Thank you

Once the green A shows you can take your foot of the footbrake.

When you want to set off just depress the accelerator and the car will move automatically.

I would hate to drive a vehicle without Autohold, I think it is an excellent feature.

I know that's not the answer to your question but it sounds like you're doing it wrong?

Autohold is a setting that you have to turn on or the A will never turn green. It is detailed in the Starting & Driving section of the manual. I have it on by default as it is an excellent feature.

When Autohold is set and you brake to a stop, press the brake pedal a bit harder & the Autohold will activate & the "A" turns green. Then take your foot off the brake pedal. The car will stay braked and the brake lights will be on. Press the accelerator & the car will move off smoothly & Autohold "A" turns white as it is now in standby.

If OPD is on then Autohold activates automatically when the car stops.
