Don't know were you got those stats from.
Most of my vehicles do over 150k before I out them.
Petrol Vectra used as a van from day one. Just short of 150k before I outed it oil,plugs and one set of pads and disks. Still run fine.
Ford Ranger used for towing 1ton cherry picker 250k oil,diff and gearbox oil one set of pads.
Fiat Doblo 371k still on the same engine, clutch and gearbox. Big ends finally let go. Needed steering rack and wiper blade linkages in that time.
I've always found petrol engines cost more to run and maintain.
My current Combo van has only made it to 84k but that was my fault as under pressure to get to work and tried to cross a deep ford

I expect an ev,s running gear to be worn out before the battery
