Hi everyone, I’d be interested to know what your best mi/kWh return has been on you MG EV4 Trophy and what type of journey was it ?
Currently the best for me was 5 mi/kWh on a 10 mile commute to work temp @ 10 degrees?

Agreed but didn’t expect such a dramatic change was previously 2.5 to 3 mi/kWh.

My X Power's been stuck on 2 most of the winter. Actually thought it was broken. It's starting to get better now it's getting warmer. Got 3 the other day, nearly fainted. And not driving any differently. 🙂👍

@Villamark, over a short distance the mi/kWh figure is very variable, depending on the terrain. Where I live is hilly, so a trip into the town, mainly downhill will produce figures above 6 mi/kWh even this time of year. My return journey would be far less as its uphill and the average would drop to around 4 mi/kWh or less on the 10 mile round trip.
I currently get around 3.5 mi/kWh on average on 60-70 mile mixed driving trips which is a far better indicator of efficiency.
During the warmer months however the average is 4.3 m/kwh and above for a 100 mile trip on motorway and A roads.

Infinite miles/kWh.

..I've had 20miles / kWh, albeit setting off from a mountain top. Conversely in the middle of winter the min seems to be 2 miles/ kWh : 2.5-4 is average between winter to summer conditions.

 Do we get another screen shot for the return journey  That is one long hill, I thought the engine was gunna fly apart attempting to use compression braking only on my '74 1800 Kombi, after the brakes started smoking and not being terribly responsive. I now know why the 8 wheeler Kenworth drivers hated the run down there after hooking up a dog trailer full of swing meat when I worked for Road Master Haulage.

No its easy to achieve in eco mode.

No it's not! 🤣

I've seen 6 mpkWh, but only over a relatively short distance. (20 miles)

Anybody can do that.

If you want 'Willy Waving Privileges' the score on the door is given "Full Spec in Da House" after a minimum of 200 miles. 👍

Would be great to specify tyre/wheel size and model of tyre. And of course outside temp (and climate temp), elevation change and avg speed.
Also intelligent battery heating can drop efficiency as well.

Tyres and wheels could have a noticeable impact on efficiency.

I'm on 205/60/r16 myself. Considering getting some efficient summer tyres, as car only came with winter tyres.

Usually 2.7-3.5 mls/kWh overall for me depending on type of road and speed. Very rarely above 4.0 for me once the miles have ticked up, even in Summer. Thats mainly suburban or motorway driving.
