MG4 Software Update Thread

With 'bricked' cars in the past, dealers have usually been able to recover and reset the car with MG China's help but it can take some time.

Op. Post #875 (page 44) in the MG4 software update tread are a good place to start (the actual start for R40 is a bit before but 875 sums it up).

In general he is quite pleased with the MG 4. That says something for a man who drives several different EVs each week. Good suspension, good driving experience and efficiency. Good charging speeds. Let down by sub-par software. Like he says don't try auto steer.

Great to see content like this, not seen that swipe down screen before with all the shortcuts on the infotainment. Hope mine will have that software when it comes next week!

Yes! The new HVAC controls look much better, got rid of the Tesla like cockpit image. ?
