Bluetooth - Music

Anyone else having similar issues to me with Bluetooth?

Bluetooth connected to the car, but music does not play!!!

Ah I see, I thought you could just connect to phone and use it without the cable.

Its a really really poor interface with phones. I've never had a car with bluetooth connectivity, but to make calls and play music you have to plug into the USB.
2011 called and want their technology back!

I can call with bluetooth but why should you use it when you have cable carplay and so much more apps to use. also there are carplay dongles on the market so you dont have too use a cable and you can do it all with bluetooth.
