I know I am pedantic but the number of posts which mention breaks instead of brakes is worrying.
Yep spellcheck can be a pain!I know I am pedantic but the number of posts which mention breaks instead of brakes is worrying.
I heard that the man who invented spellcheck died last week, his funfair is next monkey!Yep spellcheck can be a pain!

prehpas we shoudl jsut spall hwovever we wnt so lnog as we no wot thay meen.Worrying in what way ?
We all know what they mean.
That makes perfect sense to me.prehpas we shoudl jsut spall hwovever we wnt so lnog as we no wot thay meen.
I think so, yes. Clear communication is a hallmark of civilisation.Really something worth worrying about?
No you are not a twit.If it were a CV with a typo, I would take a note. If it was instructions on carrying our cardiac surgery I would be concerned.
As its a forum and if what was being asked was clear I would let it go.
Language develops over time. I remember when canceling was lavishly enlarged with two 'L' and not one. Who is to say we won't be laughing at someone who writes 'brake' in ten years from now?
Reality is, if someone wants their car to break I don't care as long as I don't have to pay to have it mended.
PS. Anyone who responds to this calling me a twit; I will know its a typo.
It ruInes my screen which is now an inky messView attachment 4641
Stick with tried and trusted technology I say ?
Cancelling still has 2 L’s in actual English, just saying! If it were a CV with a typo, I would take a note. If it was instructions on carrying our cardiac surgery I would be concerned.
