Breathable seats

Morning all,

Not wanting to sound like I’m a sweaty bugger, but at the moment I’m finding that every time I drive the car for any length of time, say a half hour or more, I end up almost needing to wring out my shirt! Doesn’t feel overly hot in the car, but nonetheless, back of the shirt is wringing! Is anyone else finding that their drivers seat is made of a specially designed non-breathable material?! ??

Personally, I have not had that problem. Only suggestion I can make is ventilate and a seat cover...

Almost any "leather" type seats will have the same problem I think. Fabric seats would absorb you bodily fluids I suspect..

This is the only reason that we went for an Excite rather than an Exclusive. We has a trial in an Exclusive and neither wife, nor daughter wanted anything to do with the seat material. We would have gladly paid the Exclusive price and probably more, if fabric seats had been an option.

My solution was a sheepskin cover from a previous {car1980`s} {wisdom of not throwing anything away}
