Can 2022 MG ZS Off the DRL?

Turn them off? They are legal requirement in the UK.

If my memory selves me correctly, back in the day, it was Volvo cars that had the front side lights permanently ON in the day time hours.
No option to disable DRL’s in the U.K. by law.

Actually, I am a car owner in Hong Kong. After parking the car, if I don’t turn off the engine, the front lights stay on. Every time I park in a parking lot or on the roadside, I am asked if I am leaving because the front lights are on. I’m not sure if these lights are called DRL in the UK, but I just want to turn off the front lights when parking without turning off the engine.

maybe i can say is park with the AC on?

I don't think there is a way to turn DRL off apart from disconnecting the fuse or wires to it
if you lock the car when you park, the lights should turn off. Can you even lock the car if it's not switched off?
you can then use MG iSmart app to turn air-con on before you get back to the car ?

On the Mark 1 ZS EV, it's possible to turn off the DRLs with the eZS app, or at least it used to be possible. But with the Mark 2, using the app to turn on air conditioning would be far preferable to leaving the car in ready mode ("engine on").
