Can anyone help me (low estimated range)

15 months.
I've never worried about the range (thankfully) and went into EV ownership fully briefed.

The longest trip I do is 235 miles twice a year, and I can easily achieve that with just the one stop. (regardless of the ambient temperature)

I also knew that my range would significantly reduce in the colder weather.

I'm still very impressed with my X Power and all that it can do.

Years ago I always wondered If I would live long enough to see mass EV adoption, let alone owning a land based missile myself.

Still very, very impressed.

Imagine what sort of range we will be seeing in another 10 years!

I only getting 120 miles for 80 per cent change
120 miles how?
From 80% down to when you next recharge? (e.g. 20%)
I charge car when it's down to 20 percent
Thanks for answering that question. Now, the other questions you were asked ..... ??
I think the answer to the title is 'no' without getting back to the questions you have been asked.

@siteguru... The way I read it is he charges to 100% and then down to 20%, so 80% charge, not 60%, but who knows 🤷‍♀️

Out of interest I have run the car for past few days with no heating and ventilation. All short runs where heating wouldn’t have been much use so just cracked the window open a little. Was amazed to see average 4.1 mi/kWh 😳 Almost as good as summer economy

I myself am unable to charge from home, so you need to be creative to balance properly.

Short summary....

Tesla Supercharger to 97%
Move to nearby 22kw charger.

Agreeable pub lunch for circa one and a half hours.

On return, car at 100% and fully balanced. 👍

(Mod please merge my posts)
Knowing roughly where you are in the world, and where I went on holiday last summer, I would guess this is Carmarthen in Wales. My question is, which pub provides you with an agreeable pub lunch? :) We used the Tesla Superchargers twice, and on first visit went to the local "Lounges" pub (the original Lounge is local to me in Bristol)

Lounges?
Never heard of it, and I've been here 5 years! 🤣

Hang on.....you on about Weatherspoons?

Anyway next time you visit, try The Welsh House, just outside the car park next door to Costa.
Very nice.

Funny you should mention that!

I passed an MG4 last month and wondered why the numpty was all steamed up.
Dangerously so.

He looked like he had a very large coat on and was definitely wearing a woolly hat.

Extremely daft to do that IMO.

He might of had a broken Hivac?
He might not of known how to use it?
He could he have been eeking out a dying battery?

(All he needed to do was crack open the windows)

Oddly I have had my car mist up seemingly at random, I think its due to the badly calibrated climate control that seems to swing wildly from hot to cold, and whether you have the vents on recirculation or not. It also mists up alarmingly quickly sometimes.

Lounges?

Very nice.

We have 'Berro' Lounge in Didcot - they all have a different name seemingly.

Haven't been in yet.

@Jomarkh has posted the link to the The Lounges website.
@Bricktop X PWR yours is at The Guidhall and called the Cofio Lounge (they do all have different names), and I do intend to come back to your part of the world. It is lovely around there, so will have to try The Welsh House. Beats the Costa which I did go in.

The original Lounge is just called The Lounge, and is Bedminster in Bristol. There are 7 in Bristol in total dotted all over the city.

That would explain it!

Been in a few times but as you say called Coffio!

@gdog quickly denies that he has a large coat
Lol yeah not something I would recommend or condone even. And I’ve got a tendency to experiment with “what if”. Took one for the team, so to spreak😂

They were all short runs under 15mins so heating wouldn’t have helped a lot, but I did have to crack window open to avoid condensation. But just goes to show 4.1 mi/kWh confirms heating eats a lot of the efficiency
