Can you turn off headlights while parked ?

I pick up grandchildren from some night time sports events and can’t figure out how to kill the headlights while in parking mode awaiting their exit from sports hall. Is it possible??

I have the same problem and the LED lights are quite obtrusive for cars parked opposite, would be good to know hoe to turn them off while leavig heating etc on.

You cannot switch off the running lights.

You can switch off auto light control via the toggle switch on the lights control stalk by pressing it to the right. The sidelights etc will go off and are now under manual control - toggle one to the left for sidelights and again for headlights. To turn auto lights back on again press the toggle switch fully to the right. You will receive confirmations on the driver's display.

Actually, you should be able to kill the headlights, it's the sidelights/DRLs that won't go out.

you can switch the car off when you are sitting in it. That will switch the lights off. I think last time I did it I was listening to the radio, so that was on.

When parked up, but unloading things at night, I always swipe the light toggle to the right, killing the "main" lights, and leaving DLRs on, so not the blind the neighbours opposite.

If needing to turn lights "on" but it not bad enough weather for the Auto to kick in and nudge left on the controller - (this is hard considering how sensitive auto is) - remember to turn them back to auto before getting out, otherwise they stay on.

If you press the "Home" button (fast enough! ), the radio will wake up and play again.

If you are not quick enough with the home button, press the brake pedal, to power the car up, then power down again. Did this a couple of times before I found out the home button sorts it.
