All being well, will be going on holiday to Canada at some point. Now I know MG EVs aren't on sale there but just on the offchance, does anyone on the forum know it well?
I'm wondering about the viability of renting an EV. I'm sure we could live with going back to ICE for a few days but in case we do get an EV would you say it's OK for road trips? The impression I get is it's likely much like the US, i.e. you need to plan but do-able. And are the networks reliable now? Haven't heard so much about the well known horrendous reliability of chargers in the US so much lately.
Then Tesla or other? From some looks at maps, CCS chargers are actually more common than Tesla. But if you did rent a Tesla, would it come with an adaptor to let you use CCS as well? One to ask the rental companies perhaps.
Vancouver / Calgary / Banff - probably not going to be going to the massive areas of wild open space further North - certainly not electric powered!
