Car heating has stopped working

Hi everyone. Has anyone managed to resolve the cabin heating? And how. It just happened to my car and the earliest booking from MG dealership is mid March and they also want to charge £150 investigation fees.
I would say it’s warranty, or fair trading in Australia u must have someone to report rip-off merchants.

Heater now fixed by MG, covered by the warranty! Very pleased with the service provided on this one.
Can you please let us know how long it took to fix your heater. My car is on the third day at the service dealer and not fixed yet. What MG branch have you used?

I'm in Scotland, but it was an MG dealer. Took several visits, totalling 3-4 days. Once identified though, the fix was a few hours to implement.

Cabin heating stopped working for me also. Car registered in March 2023 having 20000 miles.
I tried to book a service diagnostic with the dealer that sold me the car but their next availability was six weeks later. I managed to get it checked at Glyn Hopkin closer to me in only a week.
It took them a day to investigate and raise a ticket to MG for further support. It turned out that the PTC heater developed a fault. In total it was fixed in 4 working days.

Well time to join this ptc heater not working club, diagnosed on Friday after 2hours then booked in for the end of the month to replace the ptc.
Stopped working back in beginning of September, but the kids whinging in the back on the school run a couple of weeks back made me book it in to sort it. 21 plate SR exclusive 22k miles
First warranty claim made for my car!

So car got fixed on Friday 29th, took from 8.30 to 2pm, it was the PTC heater that had gone pop, but had also blown the HV fuse for that unit as well, which they didn’t have in stock but they had a technician with a brain and pulled one from a stock sale vehicle rather than me having to book in again
So now have a car that can defrost!! And keep warm again
All told, happy with the service from Wolverhampton Brindley MG.
But I think it will be time for us to part ways with our MG5 as happened with our ZS when it let us down, one strike and out!
So have been looking to add a vivaro e life to go with the Tesla mY

Looks like the guy was off the day they did the initial troubleshooting. It’s beggars belief that they only thought of checking the HV fuse after replacing the PTC heater didn’t fix the problem?

In that case I'd be wondering what it was that popped the fuse
