Car won't charge...

Tried to rapid charge today, pin locked, charger started but display shown 'Connected but not charging' stopped charge, unplugged and repeated but this time the pin didn't lock and now the car won't charge.... Any ideas before i ring the dealer?

Before anyone asks i did try this again on another charger and got the same result.

Have you tried the granny to see if that works?

Did you try a different brand/company of charger, we have some in our town that don't work sometimes, but if I go and try instavolt they always seem to work. But maybe mine sometimes does as you say at a faulty charger, it tries so many times then gives up.

Not yet and will try in the morning, need AC to work otherwise i'm stuffed

I tried a BP Pulse charger after my first failure but when i was driving past the first charger, there was a car charging so I'm guessing it was working.

Update, It’s broke, at the dealers and waiting for MG to diagnose the problem....

I had similar symptoms when my car was 10 days old.
Took nearly 6 weeks for the car to be fixed.
Fortunately they loaned me a courtesy car, its been fine since then.

Mines slightly older @ 10 weeks.... Hope it's doesn't take that long can't do with paying for petrol anymore it's expensive..

Your right , put mine on charge last night, really to get the lowest tariff need to start at midnight but like my bed too much so put it on at 11 and was robbed , it cost me 15 pence bloody robbery
