Can anyone advise me what these lights acually mean? And how many should be showing as there seems to be 4.
My MG4 Trophy LR starts with one white, then goes to one (sometimes 2) blue when plugged in, but I have recently seen a green.
No red so far, if that even exists! Last night lights on blue and plug locked but failed to charge. Thanks.

Each light represent 25% SoC (clockwise from top right). The lights go blue when you plug the cable in and change to green while charging. While charging one of the lights will "pulse" to indicate how far the charge has progressed e.g. if you have 2 solid green and the 3rd is pulsing the SoC is between 50% and 75%. All 4 lights will be solid green when the charge has finished and the battery "balancing" is in progress. The lights will go out (white) when finished.

If your lights are staying blue the charge is not starting for some reason.

What does the manual say?
I seem to recall it's well covered there.
If it is, it'll be a first! Thanks anyway; I'll check it out.

Complicated or what?! Thanks for the clear explanation.

Why not give Mg4 Tech Assist, an AI with all the information on MG4 created by @Geekice a go for things like this. I've just looked this up and it produces a very good reply, as has @TerryN.
Don't forget the manual is available on the infotainment system in the car, there is also a link to the manual from the iSmart app, and you can download your own copy from MG.

An AI with info on the MG4 sounds great! but I couldn't find it on Google. Can you post a link?
