We have been just told by our dealer that the charging point flap, which was shapped off when some tool reversed into the car while it was charging, is going to take 3-4 months to arrive. Another car at the dealership is waiting for the part, and it was ordered in October!
I am starting to think that all the savings that come wtih the MG make practical ownership a pain in the a$$... How on earth is this something that can take that long to provide, especially since the car has been designed so poorly that any muppet that is not careful when they park while you charge can easily snap the flap right off.
This has made me now move to using DC charging instead of leavin the car to charge on a slow charging point overnight, and I am seriously considering swappin it for another model, perhaps an iD5 or a Tesla.
...and this is without the terrible service from either of the two dealerships that are avalable to us within north/south circular in London, who are clearly overworked as they cover MG/Kia/Nissan.
