Hi All,
I’ve had my x-power for about a month now, but not due to get my home charger installed for another month yet. In the meantime I’ve been doing a mixture of charging at home with a granny lead and at work on a shared 22kw charger. I seem to be scraping by, but have come across a few issues.
On the shared charger I only ever get 7kw (which is what I was expecting to be getting all the time) out of it if there is no one else on the charger. If it is being shared I only ever get around 4kw whereas I can see whatever else is charging is usually between 8kw and 11kw (except for the time there was another MG4 and we were both at 4kw). Is this normal?
With the granny lead, I don’t seem to be getting any coloured lights around the charging port lighting up but the car still seems to be charging. Again, is this normal?
Finally, should I ever change the charging current limit? I currently have it set to AC.
Thanks in advance.
