I bought a smart charge station from Zonneplan for my MG ZS EV 2020.
The station should give me the ability to start a scheduled load session let’s say after two hours.
So I scheduled, connected the cable and closed the doors.
After waiting two hours unfortunately nothing happened at the scheduled start time.
Has anyone the same kind of issues and/or the solution ?

Thanks, Lambert.

Is this 3kW or 7kW charger? I use 3kW one, £120 from Amazon, WiFi and Bluetooth + phone app with settings for schedule and power. There is also setting to plug and charge immediately or schedule.

To get scheduled charging, the charger must be connected to WiFi so it knows the time.

First, is it working when you just plug and charge? If yes, do you have internet connection for it? Best to check your instructions manual once again.

Thanks from your feedback Fred!!
It is a 3kW charger. The app is clear. But my car does not start charging.
Do you also have the first generation MG ZS EV? Mine is from 2020 43 kWh.
Did you have the BMS software update installed in your car?

Mine is newer 2022 model with no no software updates as far as I know (bought it second hand in April)
All I do with my charger is set the schedule on timer 00:01 to 05:00 when I have cheap electricity (there is also options to "start now"), plug it in the car, lock the car and go away.

I would suggest you check with the seller where you bought it. They might know what to do. I suspect it's either internet connection or you need to check settings on the app schedule. Check instructions for your charger too.

Can you charge using that charger when you just plug in without timer?

If it charges OK and only schedule fails, it's settings that need fixing, car should be OK. If you have scheduled charging set up on the car, cancel it and use the charger only. Try different things...

This is what I have
EVJUICION EV Charger APP Control 5.5M, 6-13A Adjustable Current, 0-24 Hours Delayed Timer, Max. 3.3kW, EV Charger Cable Type 2 to 3 Pin Plug, Wifi & Bluetooth Connection, IP65 Waterproof (5.5M) https://amzn.eu/d/ieFFpnm
