Log of MG ZS EV Gen1 infotainment upgrade

Posting here the log of the upgrade output from successfully updating the maps on my 2021 MG ZS EV Gen 1 infotainment, in case it's useful to anyone trying to debug/troubleshoot these units.

Upgrade was done from a USB stick prepped using Naviextras Toolbox.

I've redacted some of the unique IDs with "[REDACTED]".
Seems pretty relaxed ignoring checksum errors and the like.

That's interesting, but does not say anything of value in what it does, just state data, but I suppose we should be grateful for that! Having worked in development for many years, and being fanatical about logging, it frustrates me how utterly ridiculous, inefficient, meaningless (add additional adjectives!) most logging is, to anymore not intimately familiar with the process, especially from car manufacturers that are clueless squared.

For example, an update type process could have far more meaning if output was like attached, then people less familiar could diagnose issues etc. We should also know what versions are running but MG are very opaque about changes etc.

Mind you, the reality is that the attached what you understand means nothing to 99% of MG drivers and even if MG provided details, 99% would not bother. I came to terms with the idea that I'm driving an equivalent of a windows laptop and as long as it all works, all good, not even necessary to have windows 11 on it ...?
(so far I'm lucky that everything works ?)

Agreed, but when / if something goes wrong, decent logging saves your a&& and allows customers to report details
