Arh …… So, how are folks taking advantage of any cheaper off peak rates then, by delay charging their cars on off peaks times ?.not on the HS PHEV it’s a new feature on the new ZS EV
Found that they do not fit the water proof wall box I have. I only use at a relative’s house. I had plan to move to off peak and use it to control my granny charger, but now I will fit a water probe box with a timer and socket if price comes down.Arh …… So, how are folks taking advantage of any cheaper off peak rates then, by delay charging their cars on off peaks times ?.
Can these times be set up in the wall box or are for people using the “Granny” lead, are they having to result to using a plug in timer !.
This is a very good point, I guess it depends on your usage case really.Found that they do not fit the water proof wall box I have. I only use at a relative’s house.
To me there is no off peak electric if you take into account the standing charge which can be as heigh as 42p a day then the high cost of the peak price then are you saving much at all when you balance it out.
