I booked my third annual service with them, which was due in the first two weeks of March 2025.
Then only three days after booking the appointment ( in person ) out of the blue, I received a phone call to say that my pre booked appointment had now been cancelled.
I asked if it could be rescheduled, but was then told that they were working through a list of customers, in order to cancel any future appointments as they would not be ordering in any more replacement spare parts from MG.
The Warrington branch closed down about 2 - 3 years ago, now the only remaining family owned branch has followed suit.
I was redirected to the closest alternative MG dealership, which was located about 8 miles further away on the Cheshire Oaks Outlet shopping centre.
So, the following day I decided to paid them a visit in person and booked in my car for its service.
They said they had been receiving a good number of enquiries and were conversant with the impending closure.
But when questioned, they remained fairly tight lipped on the whole subject.
