Just seen this article today. Hopefully it is the start of common sense returning to new cars !!
I don't think the MG4 is too bad on the whole compared to some of the new models coming out (Volvo, etc.. )
Lets hope those buttons include easy disabling of LKA etc, if wanted.

Car makers told to ditch distracting touchscreens
From 2026, crash testing body Euro NCAP will introduce rules that downgrade safety ratings of new vehicles that do not have easy-to-use buttons on the dashboard to control simple operations.
