After 6 weeks of owing my brand new MG5 it went into the dealers as the 12V battery wasn't charging.
On the first day they (correctly in my opinion) diagnosed a failed CCU.
Since then it's been sat there (2 weeks on Monday) apparently still waiting for MG to authorize the part...
I've tried contacting MG customer services, but apparently they don't have a direct line to warranty, and several calls have resulted in no call back or returned emails.
Does anyone have a contact at MG head office I can contact to get some progress on this.
I almost wouldn't mind being told "the part is going to take 6 weeks to arrive". But hearing from the dealer day after day that they've heard nothing from MG is disgusting.
I've been left without transport during that period - which again is incredibly frustrating - oddly enough I bought a car, because I need one!
Any help / suggestions anyone can offer I'd be grateful for.
Unfortunately the car isn't at the dealer I purchased from, so I can't expect excessive good will from them.
Thanks,
Ian
