I have just finished watching the video above which raises a question.
The guy explains the step by step process perfectly and when he completes his Application, on his his VW, it comes back to say :- "Application Complete" - Then your car is now valid for 12 months from the
1st March 2024" ( because he has renewed early of course ).
Which if I understand it correctly, this will now enable him to re-tax again, in March just before the £185 duty which is due to start on the 1st April 2025.
When I did my request on Friday, it comes back to say "Application complete" - Then your car is now valid for 12 months from the
1st April" and not the 1st of March ?.
Strangle, my renewal letter arrived in Saturday morning's post !.
As my road tax officially expires on mid night on the 31st March, is it safe to assume I will have therefore dodged the increase then, if I tax again before the 1st April start date ??.
OBTW - My car was first registered on the 14th March 2022
