Disable Car Alarm System

Can anyone advise on how to disable car alarm system to comply with ship boarding regulations. I have checked the on board user manual and while it gives details on the workings of the alarm ( page 152-153) it does not give instructions on how to disable...

I'd imagine not locking the car would be the most obvious answer

I think they have stopped fitting tilt sensors to modern cars which used to set the alarm off in roughish seas. If you have motion sensors make sure you remove the furry dice from the rear-view mirror and have nothing else which will sway about.

The alarm on the ZS EV is only triggered ( when armed ) by opening any of the doors / boot / bonnet.
No motion sensors, so just lock it and leave it.

Thank you for all your replies. Now know why there is nothing in the manual to disable alarm. Sent same question to MG customer services and their reply is to contact your local dealer who will be able to assist.
Maybe they should read the Knowledgeable forum members comments...
