Do you expect that MG will improve its MG Pilot to a level similar to Tesla's FSD?

I use MG pilot all the time on motorways and find it quite good at lane keeping, not perfect though, with very little zigzag at all. Are you sure you are double pulling the ACC stalk to engage full MG pilot. They call it traffic jam assist for some reason, the ACC display will show a car between 2 lines with another car to the left of it. The centre display will show a view of the rear of your car with green lane markings either side when fully active.
Definitely pulling twice when I enable it, will check for the green lines next time I try it though. I don't use it much though because of the poor steering and because it's very fussy about how tightly you grip the steering wheel. Light pressure gets a rebuke!

I set the sensitivity for the LKA to min so it's not as violent when I stray towards the white lines.

And how much are you prepared to pay for MG Pilot that works? 3, 4, £5,000+.
No I guess not, that's whey we have what we have :ROFLMAO:

That's not the same as the lane follow assist (LFA) which is being mentioned here (double stalk pull). IMO lane follow, although not great, doesn't exhibit the same jerking and murderous intent as the LKA - which, ironically, is the safety version of the feature.

Agree but perhaps setting the sensitivity to min for LKA may affect LFA, as you say I find it not at all bad at lane cantering.

because it's very fussy about how tightly you grip the steering wheel.
It has nothing to do with how tightly you grip the steering wheel. It needs a light pull left or right every 8-10 seconds to remind the car that you are still awake.

you mean to remind us not to fall asleep ?? I turned it on the other day on empty motorway and switched it off after few minutes, more relaxing driving myself...
