Does ECO mode really impact the available distance ?

OK so a conflicting view :). Tomorrow when I do a 20%-->80% charge I will be in Bayonne (SW France) and the temp will be 11°C. Thoughts ?
The battery heating seems to work only if the temp outside is less than 10°C. In the last few days it's been cold from 0 to 3 Max) - I've seen my initial consumption get a little better when starting the car --BUT- the battery heating ""eats"" around 3% of the charge....

And for Eco - Its one of my """~Politburg" settings ( chineese CP doesn't allow to maintain the setting - reset after closing);):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::cry: - I always set it on ECO ; , one pedal drive( if not driving in motorway ) and the eco mode in the driving settings , and the ECO mode in AC also .
I see the range Estimate changes but - has already said before - maintaining a light foot on the accelerator helps - AND- not going more than 105-110 km/h gives a good chance to get a good range ( I've done on motorway - better weather than now - 20°C outside - around 242 km and still with 18% charge left - Luxury trim MG4)).
