Does anyone have recommendations for dog crates for the MG5? Dog (Romanian rescue mixed breed) is small staffy sized 12kg . So what breed and cage do you have?

See if this helps...

We had a custom made cage for our Labrador from a company called Hamster Baskets - the did a great job of the cage and were able to accommodate the cage with the floor in the lower position with cut outs and covers for the 2 back brackets (where the floor would sit in the higher position) - just in case our dog decided to chew them! What we do - Hamster Baskets
ps just noticed my member info notes I drive an MG ZS Ev - not true we have an MG 5 LR which is what the cage was made for! Must try and change my member info!!

HI Mike.
Please can you provide any photo's as I'm very interested in this cage and on speaking to Hamster Baskets they just want to confirm everything was ok with yours?
Kind regards, Steven.

Hi Steven
Cage is brilliant and we (and I think our Labradour) have been really happy with it! The team at Hamster baskets were really helpful and custom made the cage to our requirements. As you will see from the photos we requested they leave a space between the front of the cage and the boot lip so we could store a ramp in the space. We have had the cage for nearly a year (having got it when we first got our Labradour as a puppy) and the team made removable covers to protect the boot floor mounts that are used when the boot floor is in the higher position - we were worried that our puppy may try to chew them!. The cage was made to fit with the boot floor in the lower position to give our dog maximum headroom. There is also a removable section below the door (photo shows it removed) that filled the gap between the cage floor and the bottom of the door - now no longer needed as he is just about fully grown! The cage remains rattle free after much use and us having collapsed it several times to take it out of the boot. A great cage from a really helpful company. If you have any other questions please fee free to get back to me.
Best wishes
Mike
Ps hopefully the pictures are helpful but please let me know if you need any others.
