Drivers seat

Hi everyone

So far loving the 5 and learning to live with an ev, it’s only been a few days.
I am heading to wales at the end of the week, couple of hundred miles each way.
Not worries about charging and range but I am having a couple of seat issues.

I get a wee bit of discomfort in my left middle back, has anyone else experienced similar and if so what have you done to make it better?

Nope, try adjusting the seat to give you more legroom, might ease the pressure.

Which model do you have? The Exclusive (and presumably Trophy) has lumbar support adjustment. It's the lever on the side of the seat back.

Hiya it’s the exclusive, I am using the lumbar support slightly. I am coming from an old Mercedes with a very low driving position.

I am now trying the seat much higher.

i had the same coming from a C class, took me a while to find how i wanted to sit in the MG5, i tried to "copy" the Merc seating position and that gave me the bad back!
Do keep trying different positions and im sure eventually you will find one that suits you.

This I think is my problem.

I have faffed endlessly and I need to sit very high in this car

120 mile journey and no pain

Don't forget the heated seats, if ever your back twinges give the heated seats 5mins to warm you through. A miracle fix ?.

I have a cushion which I position in the small of my back.
