Hi guys and gals, another question about our trophy, should I have the driver drowsy pod on the steering wheel and should I have rain sensor wipers ?

You are lucky you've got one with the alert pod removed. The early cars with it gave a drowsiness warning at the drop of a hat and was extremely annoying.
The wipers aren't rain sensative but speed variable so the faster you go the faster the wipers wipe.

So the wiper speed is based on car speed rather than rain intensity?
I know they do not automatically come on with with light rain or rain drops and are not really rain sensing wipers but that seems a bit odd.
I have rain sensing wipers on my current ICE vehicle and they sense light rain and wipe occasionally and then continually wipe the screen as the rain becomes a bit more intense and may go into the fast wiping mode if the rain is quite heavy but it has nothing to do with the speed I am travelling.

They're intermittent not automatic ... there are 3 base delays for the intermittent feature (the switch on the front of the stalk), but the actual delay modifies based on vehicle speed.

In other words - what wipers used to be like before all this rain-sensing malarky came about. :)
