As per title question...

There's nothing in the manual. A couple of posts previously, but nothing conclusive.

Have people on here used them on trips abroad?

I've seen conflicting accounts, some saying no due to LED angle being flat and others saying still required for usual reason.

Any thoughts/wisdom on the matter welcome (heading abroad later today! ?)

You the info that’s been discussed.

I currently don’t have fitted and I’m on a two week trip in France.

MG ZS EV facelift does not need the deflectors according to my dealer as the beam is flat. Did ask MG customer support thinking it might be a FAQ but they gave their usual sod off response. Luckily dealer has personal experience.

Thanks for this - I hope you don’t mind, I’ll add a few keywords here as I didn’t find this thread when searching for this: eurolite headlamp beam deflector beam converters for driving in EU Europe France.

on the subject, stickers (from past experience) leave residue that is hard to remove and could cause MOT failure "product on lens" ...
read somewhere that if the beam is flat, it's OK but you need to check. mine is almost flat but there are small ridges so although it's much better than my old car, it's not quite flat ! you park in front of white wall and check. if and when I go abroad with my ZS, I'm not going to use any stickers but I will make sure the beam is lowered all the way down - there is a setting for that.
