Driving through flood in EV

Well that was interesting ! A quick drive down the A7 to Carlisle and we came across quite a lot of water across the road . It was passable with care but the Lorry’s in the other direction were not slowing too much and of course their spray was covering our cars ?‍.
Not the first time l have driven through this type of flooding so wasn’t unduly worried until l glanced down and saw we were in EV mode , it did cross my mind the fact that water and electricity don’t mix well lol.
You will be pleased to know that the little MG3 coped well and we came safely out the other side ??
