I must be very unlucky and I'm sure you're all very bored hearing about it, BUT the Emissions fault warning is back again!
This time I have left the fuel cap off, will go back in half hour, replace it, and also disconnect the 12V battery to see if it resets the problem.
Unusually I looked at the handbook in the Smart app, but the European version (by accident) and unlike the UK version i subsequently found, it talks about the following- if you disconnect the battery to leave the car locked for four hours to allow the stop/start to recalibrate- there is no stop/start it's a Hybrid!!!!! As I say no mention of the need to recalibrate in the UK handbook.
I'm guessing Europe will be getting a non hybrid engine, possibly ahead of the UK, which would be why the Start/Stop is mentioned. Just a little detail for others to be aware of.
