EO mini Pro charger advise

Hello all. This is a bit of a long shot, but I have just had an EO mini Pro charger installed by British Gas (I know, first mistake) the installer actually did a very good job and the charger works fine. however, the installer had not seen the EO charger before and so this was his first installation of this type. After he had left I started to try and link it with my home WiFi so I can use the chargers app only to find that the installer should have set this up as part of the installation. I have emailed BG but their usual customer service prevails and I’ve had no response, I’ve also emailed the manufacturer thus far with the same result, so I was wondering if there was anyone in the group that may have experience of this charger and may be able to give me some advice?

Well I had a EO mini pro installed by British Gas (Local Hero's) on Monday. All setup and working apart form the EO smart home app. I was advised to call EO directly to enable this. We after a few conversations with EO and British Gas electrical car install team it needed another onsite call. An engineer arrived today to fix it. Well, he consulted the instructions and was confused as to why the wifi would not work. He then opened the unit and found that 2 leads were not connected. Connected these and now working fine with the app as well.

If needed I have the direct number for the electrical team.

This should have been installed properly the first time, but working now. It is a great little unit. I have the tethered one in black.

Hi. You have the exact same unit as me. I have just had an email giving me this number to ring 0333 202 1054 so I'll give it a try. It sound like I have the same problem as you had with your installation.

Yes, after installing it, the installer must complete part 1 of the setup on their mobile (think it registered the box as active on the EO server) then you have to complete part 2, registering the box to your account (which you need to create first).

Mine was NOT installed by BG

Thanks for everyones help. I have an engineer coming out to finish the install process after which I should be up and running.
