If by Clive, you mean me mate, I'd just like to say I don't know if they're any good, and I wouldn't have one in my car, I think they look horrible.
Sorry about that, just thought as you mentioned Amazon stock them, you already had one. That's me told off for making assumptions. Cheers Clive.

By the way, mine is carpeted, so is the centre console and cup holders.

I’m a bit late to this thread but I recently came across these as an upgrade for my MG3 Hybrid+. As a longtime Jaguar owner, I am used to having gas struts on the bonnet so I decided to look for an upgrade and here they are:

I also got an under bonnet light which looks handy.

Now the long wait for delivery...

After I don't know how many vehicles I've had since 1963 only one has ever needed a top up of oil between services, and the same for screen wash really, the boss pulls on the stalk and you could wash the damned car, so I let her fill it if it needs and, I just wet the screen and it seems to be enough, waste not want not.

That’s impressive! I have to top up my washer bottle about every two weeks this time of year. I’d also struggle to find somewhere to wash my car on the A66 at 5 AM, after passing a wagon on a damp and dreary morning - so I like to keep it topped up.

As for oil, I’ve rarely had to add any either, but that's not really the only reason you check it, which I’ll continue to do, as should all responsible motorists. But as they say, ignorance is bliss!

Same here, Kev. Drove company cars, (new every three years), for about 24 years...had new cars every 2 or 3 years since then. Never bothered under the bonnet between services, except to top up the washer. Had enough of that DIY car maintenance in my younger days, when I drove mostly old bangers. H
