Ev drop out

EV drops out when I put the heater on to clear the windscreen does anyone else have this problem

So does mine, just another MG feature.
Most electric options will mean a drop of EV.
I think the seats are okay but I have yet to try them.

Yes this will happen then when the water gets up to temperature you can switch back to EV then when the water temperature drops the ICE with run again.
