My car was in to the dealer recently where they updated various modules of the car. After that I noticed that the the four charging lights on the charger door are no longer lighting up in any condition. It also seems the car won't fast charge on a CCS charger above 50 KW, I was trying to charge on at 150KW charger.

Anyone have any idea what happened to the car?

The charging port lights thing is a fairly common issue which I also have at the moment. There's a fix which involves pulling a fuse, but my dealer has said they'll fix it when the car finally goes in for that software update in about six weeks. See this thread.

I have no idea about the charging limitation you're experiencing. I take it the car is at a relatively low SoC when you see the problem, so it's not just that it's got to the slower part of the charging curve?

Yea, not too concerned about the charging lights as its more of a cosmetic issue but would like the dealer to fix it nonetheless.

On the fast charging yes, I was charging from around 10%. I couldn't see any reason why it shouldn't go beyond 48kw specifically. I guess perhaps its the same fuse which causes this?

I don't think so. I don't remember anyone else saying anything about the two issues happening together. I haven't had my car on a DC charger since the lights went out, so I don't know.

It could be the charger limiting the rate to the car - many of them do eg Instavolt when there is another car sharing the same point.

Or was it a 50kW charger?

He did say it was a 150 kw charger. I would expect anything up to about 85 kw charging on one of these, assuming it wasn't too cold. It could have been a problem with the charger though.

Might be worth trying the car on a different ultra-rapid, to see if it's consistent.
