Not me, the XPower 😜

It was just a quick wash and dry, nothing special, but I just had to get all the salt and winter grime off her now that winter is over (well maybe).

Now, you've got me wondering when your first wash is going to be.🤣

Washed both the XP and 5 this afternoon but was fast losing daylight when I finished, so no pic 😒
Also adjusted the windscreen washer jets whilst I was at it, after struggling to keep the screen clean on the motorway yesterday - who on earth was responsible for designing them???

Mr @Bricktop X PWR summed up the washer adjustment procedure quite nicely here > Windscreen wiper obstructed by bonnet

Did you have any success adjusting the jets? When I try they're too high when stationary and too low when moving, lol.

I know and feel your pain!!

I use a small flat screwdriver and put it into the center of the jet.

Push up for up.
Down for down.
(No shit Sherlock!)

But it is incredibly difficult to finesse the position.

The major problem though, is ease (NOT!!!) of checking your work.

What a palaver!

No contact wash for mine until the beet lorries finish their work. Until then it's just Surfex HD followed by snow foam, jet wash followed by another snow foam and jet wash on a drizzly day. I need to do a contact wash soon so I can give the car another coat of Yum Foam+, it seems to have done a good job of protecting the car.

Found that the largest flat blade in a precision screwdriver set is perfect for tweaking the position with the wiper blades still in their usual position, but all the same 🤯... seems that you have a choice of hitting the wiper or by directing it above it becomes a stupidly fine mist that is useless when operating at speeds
