My daughter, who is pregnant, took delivery of a leased mg4 SE LR a couple of months ago.

Today she had another occurrence of spurious emergency braking which pulled severely on her stomach.

This is obviously very concerning for her.

Are updates available to improve this bug?

If so, what version does she need?

I think the lease company haven't updated the software and it's probably ancient early 2023 versions.

I know this has been discussed elsewhere but was hoping for the latest info.

Thanks.

The first thing she should do is to lower the front collision alert sensitivity. It should remain at that level I have mine on medium and had no problems. Others have set on Low.

Also do not use ACC/TJA in places where there are parked cars.

Hers was set to moderate, so I've told her to set it to low.

As an update, I set my alert sensitivity to low but it is not maintained and has to be set on each journey... 🙄
