Pretty dire experience for me. Not even got the car yet. Bought an MG3 Hybrid + in early March. Was offered 27th, 28th or 29th March for collection, selected 28th.
Got a phone call that week saying they needed me to pay for it prior to collection, so paid. Except it wasn't ready on the 28th.
What followed has been lie after lie.
- "I've just emailed the transporter so will let you know" (they didnt)
- Phoned again and was told they were wating to hear from the transporter but should be within a couple of days (it wasn't)
I then phoned, spoke to someone other than the sales associate I was dealing with because I was fed up of being fobbed off and was told 7-10 days, that came and went. We're now a week later, still nothing, and never has the dealership ever contacted me, except to rush through payment under the guise that the car would be ready. I dare say if I didn't bother phoning I'd never get the damn thing.
Just about to give them an ultimatum of having it ready by a date or a full refund as they've well and truely led me down a path with this. The worst part is it's not a one off. I found out that a relative ordered their car from the same place a couple of days before me, also with the same sales associate, and has also been fobbed off with the same lies over and over.
Overall awful experience and has thoroughly put me off ever going with a Glyn Hopkin dealership again.
