Those are the starting speeds when the wife pulls out to overtake in the '06 Prius, around 85 in your money by the time she is back on our side of the road If they were doing less than 50mph (80km/h our money) on the roads outside any built up area, you'd have to pick them out of the truck tyre treads even the towns that don't seem to rate high enough for a servo, post office or part time Police stn have 80km/h speed limits through the "built up area" if it has a school, then at school start and finish times the limit is 25km/h and flashing lights to let you know these speed restrictions apply ....... just about everyone respects those limits, we all have kids or grand kids and we all know "school run mums" seems to develop "baby brain" when they are in the school pick up/drop off zone .... mirrors are for applying make up it would seem, they certainly don't use them when they pull out from the kerb once the doors slam .....
