Great day out with your MG? Post up a picture ?

The way things are going in the motor industry Citroen might be part of the SAIC group soon, so your participation in this group is validated? Besides, it will be good to have an alternative, trusted view of the opposition. It'll be nice to have a roof over your head? ;)

Many have said this but the braver ones tell the truth 🤩
No, I have enjoyed the content that many good folks have filled these hallowed pages with so I’ll hang around the edges if I may.
I too deserted the MG clan this year but still hang around as I enjoy the forum.

I switched to a 2022 Hyundai Kona, I could give my opinions on that but I fear of little interest here.

So I’ll perhaps open up a new thread
Bonjour from the Dragon Frog 🤩

Have Hyundai fixed the reduction gear problem in the Kona? I went through 2 reduction gears in my 2020 Kona, which is the main reason I swapped it for the ZS, I didn't fancy having that fixed again out of warranty.

Didn't see one electric MG parked in NZ, saw a few on the road, but they were all moving too fast to see what model they were.

Then first day home today, go to shop to replenish larder and there 2 cars away is our twin.

That's us on the left, our twin on the right, were he has an "A" in the license number were we have a "D", so we are a tad younger, but only a few months in it I'd say.

Och I’ll still bore folk with my travel tales and plans and look forward to the odd meet up round the country if only to repay my debts on the grand Applecross fish supper.
The Citroen has roof bars so I may still use the lower floor as lounge / kitchen and the upper floor as the bedroom, at least initially.
Still unsure about swapping vehicles with Daughter so she can use the camper. I think her ex scared her off automatic cars years ago and her work mates and walking buddies seem to be DM Dodoes which is strange as they’re building a wind farm. So that’s a work in progress.
When’s the great bicycle homecoming taking place ? And what are you thinking about the white MG4 ?

The bike delivery date is 6th December at the moment. Since I'm going to Clitheroe to collect it, I'll have to figure out a convenient day.

The white MG4 is fine, I like its sound system. I've still got it because the dealer was short staffed yesterday. Several people off sick. (That's what happens when everyone swans around pretending covid isn't a thing any more.)

Is there an age identifier on NZ plates?

Was out there in April/May and couldn't work out the system.

It's not a thing any more it's just a flu as we get every winter, some people it can impact more than others.
If you feel well you go to your work if you don't you don't, same with any other illness now.

No idea what they do in NZ. This was back in WA, where our plates come out in alpha/numeric sequence. It doesn't give you an exact date, but you can tell roughly if you know when the letters/numbers were released.

Enjoy the progressive destruction of your immune system.
Well that's a thought or not as the case maybe, or we could go back into lockdown and enjoy the progressive destruction of the country, which is a mess anyway but going into lockdown would certainly help it on its way quicker

Yes, it was only the earlier ones that had a problem, I believe a recall was done for them.

Fortunately I can't see these for 99.9% of the time, so it doesn't bother me. If anybody else is disturbed by the ugliness.....I don't care :)
:)

What I struggle to understand is that the Kona from the side seems to have been designed with Ioniq 5 styling cues, but at each end of the car, the designers abandoned this idea and went freestyle!

I do admire Hyundai for their build quality, general reliability and styling (apart from the afore-mentioned bits!).

I sourced a 2018 i30 Tourer for my middle lad and he loves it and I am very impressed with it too!
