Had my quote for a Trophy. Should I get any of these extras?

My Phase 1 Trophy has a painted black roof. It is possible that some dealers are wrapping the roof because it is a selling point,

Is a wrap better than paint? The edges on those pictures looks a bit shabby and could they not get caught when washing?

The wrap ultimately won't last and will need redoing when it becomes shabby, but it won't cost a fortune just to do a rectangular roof. But with paint, no such worries.

I've had a good look at mine and I'm 99% sure it's paint. If it was a wrap they wouldn't finish the edge with a sharp corner on a raised part but cut it to finish in the gully.
I think they have sprayed the whole body including the roof the colour of the car and then masked the roof off and sprayed it black leaving a raised edge from the masking.

Yeah I agree that looks like it would be painted. I'm going to have to ring round other dealerships in my area and see if anyone has the orange trophy.

Mine looks the same as your pictures and I think its just the way it's been masked for painting
There is a definite lip on the edge of the black which feels too thick to be a wrap.

Most likely, as it could be mistaken for a wrap to an untrained eye.
