I got told off the other day for posting on the wrong forum.
My problem is finding the right one.
EG how do I get to the Australian MG4 forum?
the FAQ says there's a tree of the forums, with sub forums but I don't seem to be able to get it to work.

There isn't an Australian MG4 sub-forum, at least not now, and I doubt that it makes sense to make one. So the best there is at present is a few threads with "Australia" in the thread title. Usually that will be on the first page of the MG4 forum, but if not, just search for "Australia" without the quotes, and search only "this forum". They seem to be sorted by date posted, with the most recent first, so it should come up soon.

Are you talking about this thread?

Hope it wasn't the Tesla charger thread? if so I didn't mean it to sound like telling you off, just saying you'd get a better response on the MG4 forum rather than the MG5 one.

Nobody should be telling anybody off. A polite request is sufficient. There are two or three threads in the MG4 forum with "Australia" in the title, where the Aussies hang out a lot of the time.

That's the trouble with forums, the voice you hear in your head is not the voice that typed the message.

I guess it was the your use of m8t, the wrong inflection on that can sound a bit that way.

I'm used to a forum that starts off with a list of all the sub forums, and you just go straight to where you want. But I love this place and will get used to it after a while.

So here's where I get confused.

The blue boxes, say to me there's an Australian forum.
Same as a lot of other blue boxes, say I'm in forums that don't actually exist.

The blue boxes are keywords that the algorithm has picked up automatically, and they can be a bit hit and miss. I think that the idea is that if you see a keyword that you are interested in, you can click on it and get first a definition, then posts from any forum that features that keyword. I just tried it with "supercharger", and it told me that it compresses the intake gas... Oops! For other keywords it would hopefully do better. Then the posts all at least once mention the word supercharger.

That's what I do 99% of the time. On the top left of each page clicking on the big 'MG EVs Community' logo thing in white takes you back to the top level of all the sub forums. From there I normally go to MG electric car forums, and then to MG4 EV forum.

The items in bold are threads which have new messages in since you last visited, and if you have contributed to a thread your avatar will show in small next to the threads creator on the left. I normally click on the time to the right of an entry to go straight to the last post in the thread.

I'm sorry I don't have time to do screenshots to illustrate right now.
