Hide your Granny!

Just figured out a nice hiding spot for the granny charger under the boot floor, leaving the side netting for the EV charging cable. A very neat solution with no clanging noise from the granny.
was going to get a spare tire kit, maybe I won’t now.

The spare tyre kit is a really good option in my mind.
Not many cars offer the facility for carrying a spare wheel anymore, so because the ZS EV can, why would you not ?.
I have coiled my not very often used, type 2 lead around the space saver wheel.
The only thing you will not be able to fit under the boot floor cover on its lowest setting, is the Granny lead.
You could put that in one of the side netting sections ?.
To be honest, I don’t bother carrying my Granny lead around in the car, unless I am travelling to a place where I know the charging infrastructure will be poor.
Go for having the spare wheel, because why not ?.
Could save a LOT of time standing at the side of the road waiting for a break down service.
No point in carrying the inflation pump or the sticky stuff they give you !.

It’s good to know the type 2 cable can be wound around the spare tyre. I like the idea of a spare tyre, but only used it once ever in 23 years of motoring.....

Is it not supposed to go in the hole in the black plastic thing? That’s where it is in the ZS.

I have taken the black plastic container out of my spare wheel space and put the small compressor etc in a bag. Saves a lot of room for various things in my boot.

I left granny in the bag and squoze it into the gap in the left of the boot on the opposite side from the net. It holds itself tight in there. Really odd that there isn't a net there as well.

Hi , check my posts “Unfaff with a frunk” where I describe my under bonnet adventures. I must say I find it quite useful and saves room in the boot.

I prefer to use the word “inclode” instead of included ???

My daughter (8) used "inconfident" the other night, I'm happily telling her we think that's incorrect along with my wife, when we fined it was used in a book in 1914
