High pitched whine

I have a 2023 MG4 Trophy, with the rear spoilers.
The car makes a constant high pitched whine at high speed, over about 60mph.

I took it to my local MG garage a few months ago and was told there isn't a fault.
The noise is still there, so it's going back again next week.

Anyone else had the same problem and know the cause and the solution please?

Some owners have reported that the slight gap in the seam between the top and bottom parts of the spoiler of their cars causes a whistling noise. The cure is to fill the gap with a thin bead of silicon.
If you wanted to be sure that's the problem you could tape over the gap and if that stops it then fill with silicone.

I also have this issue with my Nov 2022 Trophy. It’s annoying, I agree, but I’ve grown to ignore it where I can.

Though I do point it out to new passengers to make sure they know it’s nothing to worry about.

MG garage also told me there’s nothing wrong with it and nothing to be done. Sadly just one of those manufacturing side effects I think.

I used to get a constant whine from the passenger seat in my Sports Car.

Easy fix was to leave her at home

When I had a motorbike I knew how fast I was going based on the pitch of the squeal from the pillion seat.
